Hello,
I've had this setup and it has always given me shitty FPS in wow raids and i never understood why so maybe you guys can help me? I've tried the prevent downclocking as well http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/423880-howto-prevent-gt...

Heres my system specs

AMD Phenom(tm) 9500 Quad-Core Processor, MMX, 3DNow (4 CPUs), ~2.2GHz

Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 Powered by BFG
Motherboard:
MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum Motherboard
Computer Case:
Thermaltake V9 Black Edition

Operating System:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)

Memory:4gbs Corsair XMS2 DDR2 Ram

More than likely you're CPU limited, especially if you enabled the TLB bug fix in the BIOS which slows you down another 10% or so. Disable the TLB bug fix, overclock your CPU, and see if your FPS goes up. If overclocking the CPU doesn't work you can try raising, or lowing, the video quality to see if you GPU limited, which I doubt. I would suspect it to be a networking issue (as an online game WOW is pretty connection dependent) before I would suspect the GPU though.
