So i've been trying to record gameplay of the new Medal of Honor with Fraps... 30fps on the highest resolutions, i dont want to lower my graphics settings, because im getting almost a 60fps average playing the game on ultra settings.

The problem I'm running into is that when i start recording in the game, the fps of the actual game lowers ALOT and it makes the game almost unplayable.

I've looked all over online and have found no deffinent solutions.

PC Specs:
EVGA GTX 260
E6500 Dual-core Overclocked to 3.8ghz
750gig Seagate Barracuda HDD
Nvidia 780i Mobo
4 gigs Kingston HyperX DDR2 RAM
Corsair 750w PSU

Please help I've seen videos of people recording with worse computers specs but with a better outcome.

One option i've been considering is buying an external HDD dedicated to the Fraps writing.
