Dell Inspiron 1545

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 with the basic motherboard. I was given the latop for free so I figured why not spend 100 or 200 bucks and make it decent. I have seen the 1545 with ATI discreet graphics cards for sale from 100-300 dollars but is this the only MOBO that will fit? Do I have other options? If I wanted a decent latop I would have to spend over 700 bucks. The PC came with 8 GB of Ram and 1TB hardrive so really the only other thing I would spend money on is processor and GPU.

I don't recommend you do anything except maybe change to an ssd or add ram. Cpus can be upgraded, but the heatsink may not provide adequate cooling, and laptop cpus don't come with a heatsink.
