Core i5 2500k or AMD Phenom II X6 1090T?

I can afford both of the processors. Core i5 2500k from Intel or X6 1090T from AMD.

I will have to buy a motherboard for both of them.
When advicing about the Core i5 2500k, please provide a motherboard with DDR3 RAM, 16x PCI Slots, Overclocking capabilities, 64-bit, USB 3.0 and SATA 6gb/s
Also please provide a HSF for the intel.

No info needed on AMD. :)

The 2500K outperforms the 1090T almost universally see http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/146?vs=288&i=2.3... All boards will have DDR3 RAM and at least 1 16X PCI Express slot. If you want to overclock you need a P67 board all have at least some USB 3 & SATA 6Gbps ports. This is one of the cheapest that has everything you want but its out of stock http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... this ones currently in stock http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Forgot the HSF its not a hot processor do the Hyper 212+ should be good for all but extreme overclocks.

So Cooler master hyper 212+ is supported by all the processors. I thought the hyper 212 was only supported by AMD processors. thanks :)
