My 3D HTPC gaming rig...

Building new gaming rig expectation is to play NFS hot pursuit best online multiplayer experience. I would be playing in 1920*1080 resolutions. Other than racing not sure what other games I am going to like it…at this point only one graphics card, but later some time I would be buying another card to make it crossfire…

HTPC wise I want 3D ready machine with DX11, USB3.0. Play blue ray movies with ultimate ease
Please suggest if you see component incompatibilities or have suggestions to improvise it…

I choose 870 mobo as my understanding in future it allow me to do crossfire on 8*8 is good enough to use capability of 2 6850 cards and case is big enough to accomodate these cads....

The Asrock 870 is about the only 870 mobo that is 8/8 CFable - everyone else is either single or 16/4 I would say anything from Rana 44x to Deneb 955BE +4GB RAM would suffice and no need for Hexacore/8GB hehe

its more for future proof...i am expecting soon games wll start using 6 cores as well...ram can be reduced for now...
