Just built this and games keep crashing????

hi guys. just built this comp evrything seems to be working, apart from the games 1 play keep crashing!!
ive only put to games on so far and dont wont to put anymore on till its fixed.

any answer please thanx richard

Set RAm clocks to moderate 1066/1333 speeds/CAS timings if necessary...

delete partition/repartition/reformat, reintall OS, then:

CHipset drivers
video drivers
Nvidia overclocking utility to set clocks to standard 460 reference speeds for testing....

Do you have another PCI-e video card you can borrow if necessary to test if yours might be faulty?

hi i would have 2 buy. this is my first build and every went pretty smootly apart from this! does that take a lot of work? the games start working ok then about say half anhours play the game still runs but the screen is all jumbled up and the pointer still moves! thanks for ure help.

Might need to make sure no aps are trying to bounce you back to WIndows, turn off all AV, MSgr, Norton, anything that might try to bounce you back to desktop...

The screen getting scrambled is indicative of GPU/mem issues, try the Nvidia OC utilities to monitor temps, and reduce gpu/mem clocks until you figure out what is going on....
