1055T budget MB ?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a Phenom II 1055T computer.

I don't really care about anything else, I just want the 1055T for processor intensive custom software.

I was thinking about getting an ASUS M4A78LT-M http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... .

Would that be ok? Could you recommend me something in that price range?


The budget for the whole thing is about 450$. So no discrete graphics card, no dvdrom, no fancy case.

I know it is pretty challenging to build a system like this.

Also, what PSU would I need for such a system?

That Gigabyte / Phenom deal is so sweet. I paid almost that much for the proc alone (bought in the Netherlands).

But anyway, thanks for the advice. It really got me thinking about getting a 880G board.
I finally settled on an ASRock 880GMH/USB3 R2.0.
