Media Center not detecting any channels

I am using Internal Tv Tuner Card.
The software came along with that card is not much good.

I am not able to re-arrange the channels.
I am trying to use Media Center, which detects the card. But it shows 0 channels found.

need some more info... are you on cable? what country? in the us cable has largely gone to encrypted digital so for example, I have to use a Comcast box hooked to my tuner and a USB IR emitter to change its channel. it used to work on it's own but since the digital switch if I plugged it in directly I would get no channels
