PSU choice and will this card fit?

I am buying a CoolerMaster HAF X case.
I just want to make sure it will support 2 9650's. I am assuming it will because the case is a monster.

Also I am planning on getting the Corsiar hx850 which is a modular PSU.
I am wondering if I should forget the HX850 and go with the TX850 because I should be able to hide all the cables of the TX850 pretty easy with the PSU cover the HAF X comes with?

I am slightly over budget so switching to the TX would help put me closer to my budget.

These are the three PSUs Also is there any difference between the TX850 and the V2 of it?

Thanks for any advice, input, and opinions

The HAF X is a monster and 2 x 6950s ( I think you mean ) will fit just fine.

The 850TX is a good power supply and the 850HX and 850TX V2 are great power supplies. If it will save you money the HAF will have plenty of room for cable management.

Yes I meant 6950 not 9650, I my fingers keep typing that out of order. Its really starting to annoy me. Also are the TX850 and the TX850 V2 the same thing? Other than the one is bronze certified while the other is just standard 80%?

    Thanks
  3. Go for the HX 850 if the price difference is not too much.. Its a modular PSU and thus will help you with your cable management needs in a more efficient way compared to the non modular TX 850..

The TX V2 line is a bit higher quality than the orignal TX line. Either is still above average quality.
  5. There is a 20$ price difference as long as I get it while the rebates are still going, other wise its 25$
  6. The modular one will look "cleaner" in your case but like I said the HAF X is huge and has great cable management. Go with whatever your budget allows.

I like that, same price as the TX ranked in top tier, and modular. It has the connectors two run 2 6950s?

    Thanks for the help
  8. Yes the XFX should have all the connectors you need. It is also an excellent PSU.
  9. Well after looking some stuff over, I am going to go with the XFX obsidian suggested.
Thank you obsidian for that, it fits my needs and keeps the price down.

Thank you anort for all the answers and help.
