Hello, I have a old ruggid radeon 9550 pro 128 mb agp i was thinking of upgrading to a ASUS Radeon HD 3450 Video Card - 512MB DDR2, AGP
so i was wondering since i have a ddr ram would it not run or does the ddr2 on the gpu have nothing to do with ram at all please answe this quickly im planning on buying this from tigerdirect.com within the week. Thanks for your support =)

The memory on the GPU has nothing to do with the system memory, otherwise GDDR5 cards could not exist, you can use a DDR2 card on a DDR or DDR2 or DDR3 system without issue.
