Logitech G9 mouse not detected or broke?

I just purchased mine 3 months ago. Its worked fine up to yesterday. I don't know if the mouse is broke or if its a windows problem. Any advise.

    go into your hard drive program files delete all the logitech files/drivers reinstall them then tell me what it does.

    I deleted all Logitech installed programs and deleted all folders. I shut down, plugged in the mouse hoping it would be detected but nothing. I then re-installed the Setpoint software (5.2A) from the installation disk. I tried a different USB and I tried another computer also, still dead. I checked for update software, none to download.
    I understand there is a 3 year warranty, so I will return it for repair or replacement.

  5. I'm happy to report Logitech sent a replacement even before I returned the defective mouse. I couldn't have been more satisfied.
