If replacing 10gb stock (factory) ram in new Velocity Micro LX560 rig, would Corsair XMS-3 12GB Triple Channel memory kit(s); two (2) kits for total of 24GB (rig has 6 slots rated for 24GB total) function so that rig will recognize 24GB and if I enable XMP for Intel i7-960 will rig SAFELY overclock (very occasionally) for both CPU and RAM? Again, I do not see overclocking on a daily basis and have no wish to appreciably shorten life of mobo, CPU, RAM, etc.., response will be appreciated. Jim T.

You should contact velocity micro. Oem boards may be very specific about the ram they will run.
