I'm going to be using this mobo for a gaming computer and I am unsure of what to get.

Needs:
able to run Sli/Xfire config
good for overclocking a 2500k
be reliable

Budget: max being about $225 but I will spend more if it justifies the cost

currently it's just going to be a simple setup with 8 gb (2x4gb) 1600mhz ram, one gtx 560 (non Ti), 550w psu, reusing a 3gb/s 500gb HD, 1 1080p 1980x1080 monitor and CM hyper 212 EVO for cooling with all of this house'd in a CM Storm Enforcer.

after this is setup my plans include:
A. upgrade the psu to a 750w and add another gtx560 with time frame being 6 months to a year

B. Was planning to replace that 500gb HD with a 6gb/s 750gb (this went south after the dramatic HD price rise :ouch: ) time frame for HD upgrade was 3 months but it's now year+ or till HD prices come back down to earth (so to speak)

C. add in a 60-120gb SSD as a boot drive/place for favorite games. SSD time frame is still 6 months to a year.

D. OC the 2500k to at least 4 ghz. time frame is any time I feel like it :D

If you want more info about the parts, just ask you shall receive ;)

P.S. this is actually a modified version of my IB build with the difference being I changed the two gtx 570s to gtx 560s, elimated the tri monitor setup & change from 1 240gb ssd with 2 2tb HDs.

actually I looked this up and PCI-E 3.0 has backwards compatibility with 2.0 products which is extremely helpful to know [:jaydeejohn:5]

P.S. I did a quick edit to my original post, I forgot to put in amount I'm willing to spend... [:lorbat:6]
