More about what kind mobo
  1. If you aren't going to X-Fire, or SLi that 1000W is overkill (and garbage as well).

$100 GIGABYTE GA-Z68P-DS3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s ATX (if on a lower budget)

$190 ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX (if you have a larger budget)

    PSU's

$180 LEPA G900-MA 900W SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular (Lepa is a rebadged enermax, with a gold fan)(if doing SLi/X-Fire)

    $125 Seasonic SS-560KM Active PFC F3, 560W ATX12V V2.3/EPS 12V V2.91, 80Plus Gold Certified, Modular (if only single card)
  2. could you tell me some reliable psu brands?

    thanks
  3. Seasonic/Silverstone, Enermax/Lepa, Antec, XFX, Corsair, PC P&C, OCZ (newer ZX series), newer Rosewill (hive series), some of the Kingwin PSU's are decent too (Lazer series).

The ones seperated by a slash are essentially the same company, or use rebadged units.
  4. what about the mobo in the link above?

    is it worth buying?

Other than the fact that it only has 2 SATA 6.0 ports, and no USB 3.0 header? I'd spend the $45 more on the ASUS I listed earlier if you only want 2x SATA 6.0.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157250
    $175 ASRock Z68 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX

More fan headers, 4x SATA 6.0, has a USB 3.0 header, and only $30 more (in stock, so no wait other than shipping)
  6. ok. thanks il get that one then :)
    thanks for your help
