Hi, I'd like some feedback on my updated parts list for my first computer build. I don't plan to do any over-clocking on this machine.

The purpose of this machine will be mainly for media encoding, media playback, and internet browsing, so I'll be using on-board video instead of a card. I've gone with the latest Phenom II X6 for quicker encoding and to be something that will last awhile so I can stick it in a AM3+ board to spread out the upgrade costs. I've got a big hard drive so I'll have space for a bunch of stuff I've got on an Apple Time Capsule and a second one for backup. I've decided against getting a SSD for time being, due to cost considerations.

Any thoughts? My parts list is here.

^ Some suggestions -
1. CPU - IMO $40 more than the 1100T is not worth it,...Go with 1090T, it is just 100MHz slower, and with just a slight increase in multiplier, you can run the 1090T at 1100T's speed,...

2. RAM - this has a $10 off promo

7. HDD - You might want to go for a faster HDD as a boot drive - Samsung F3 1TB

Will that really be enough power?

I'd really prefer one with composite input so I can plug in my original Xbox. How about one of these?

Thanks, I'll go with the second one.

PSU - That can even power graphic cards like HD 5750, GTS 450 and such,... So go with a higher PSU only if you are planning to add a discrete graphic card more powerful than those cards,...
Or if you are still skeptical, you can go with this -
OCZ Mod 500W - It is modular and is pretty good,...

Monitor - The one I linked is in the list you have linked,...
