Hello,
My Dell Studio 1558 laptop with i5 chip + 64 bit operating system has a preinstalled ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphics card. For some reason, every time I watch a video I get a message that reads, there is a problem with the card and that it is "fixing" the problem. However it does NOT fix the problem, but instead leaves me with sound, a green screen and nothing else. Of course this is not as frustrating as the previous problem when I was getting a totally black screen that shut down all access to my computer except the power off button...NOT GOOD! OH, and it's notg nearly as frustrating as actually talking to a Dell tech support person for 5 hours while they try (TRY) to fix the problem and I get NOWHERE!
Please, I'm begging you, can someone tell me what my options are here. My system is NOT overheating. It's only 4 months old. Should I be demanding my money back or what?? Gah! so maddening.
