not unless you play games or do video editing, no need to because the 4200 can run 1080p video just fine and an upgrade to a discreet card will do you no justice unless you are wanting to game or use mulitple monitors which can be achived by purchasing a low end discrete gpu
  2. not planning on gaming but would it make a difference on watching dvds and youtube? also planing to get a bluray drive any difference ?

no it will make no difference as the 4200 is more than capable to play dvds youtube and full 1080p full ray movies with no problems or glithces at all. However if your just really itching to upgrade to something than just go with a low end nvidia discreet gpu such as the gddr5 gt240 which requires almost zero power and would increase your overall 3d and media performance. But for the most part it would be totally worthless because most HTPCs just run off of integrated graphics because that is all the gpu power that is required to run up to a single 1080p bluray movie and anything below it. The only reason you would really upgrade is if you were trying to have say 3 simultaneous 1080p monitors, for that you would need a dedicated gpu but if your just talking 1 screen at 1080p than the hd4200 is more than adequate
