For the case I want to get the Antec 300 for 45 GBP + the monitor I mentioned above and some kind of keyboard.

So what do you think of this build?

There are couple of things I am concerned about like:

1) I heard that the 5850 GPU is big so will it fit in that case?
2) I was suggested to get a different mobo because this one "won't actually run Xfire or SLI. Second slot is x4, so won't work." so I should get a cheaper one or something.
3) Is the Radeon HD 5850 a good GPU?
4) How good will this build perform in games and is it a good build over all?

If u want CF hit an Asrock 870/880/890GX ATX/SB850
The HD 5850 is 9.5" IIRC and should be fine for that case
If you could nab HD 5850 on the cheap it's a good buy

You need to state budget for us to judge whether good build ^^

I don't think I will need a crossfire so will this mobo be good or can I get a cheaper on or something?
As for the budget I mentioned at the top that it should be maximum 700 GBP (1000 USD)
