Need help selecting a few parts for gaming computer

I'm building a gaming computer and need some help picking some of the components.


Approximate Purchase Date: a few months


Budget Range: $1500-2000


System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, internet browsing. media


Parts Not Required: monitor, speakers, mouse, keyboard

Country of Origin: USA


Parts Preferences: Intel CPU


Overclocking: Maybe


SLI or Crossfire: No


Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200

first, wait 2 weeks for Sandy Bridge. It releases Jan 5, retail Jan 9.

that said, get a pair of 68xx or 69xx instead of the 5970,

Overall you'll want 750W PSU 80+ Bronze or better/
