I would like to be able to play crysis at maximum settings with at least 2xaa enabled at get 60 fps. What would i have to change on my build in order to achieve this?

CPU: Amd triple core phenom 2 at 3.3ghz
GPU: Gts 250 1gb overclocked to 790/1990/1090
HDD: 250gb western digital
monitor: 1680x1050
Motherboard: Asusl M90 Plus
Ram: 2 1gb sticks running at 333mhz and 1 2gb stick running at 333mhz .. the ram is two different brands

I was thinking either a 6850, 5850 or a gtx 460 768.

My budget is 180 dollars and not a penny more.

Are you talking about the upcomming Crysis 2, the original Crysis or Crysis Warhead?

Either way, you probably won't reach the expected performance, Crysis is a power GPU hog. Even the +300$ 6970 probably wouldn't be able to reach that. The 5850 is probably your best option however, it should give you a minimum of 20-25 FPS and an average of ~35; playing with some settings should, however, let you increase those numbers.

because crysis seems like a good benchmark for future games that i would like to play like skyrim and crysis 2. I not for sure how heavy skyrim is supposed to be but crysis two, if like number one, should give my future video card a run for its money. I am also just interested in over all performance for games that likes to tax the whole system like crysis.
