Today, When I was swapping in my new CPU, I grabbed the wrong bottle and sprayed a little WD40 (thinking it was pressurized air) into my cpu fan. Is this fan ruined? Or is there any way I can salvage it?
The fan was not attached to my mobo when this happened thank god.
If it is ruined, I'd also like to ask for a recommendation for a good cpu fan that is installed with simple screws. I ask this because my mobo already has a clip attached to the back of it that pretty much limits it to fans taking simple screws to install. Thanks.
