ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3

Hey guys,
I am building a unit for my CAD programs. I chose this MOBO along With AMD Phenom II x4 Black Edtion along with G.Skill ripjaws 8GB (2x4) DDR3 1600. what I am hearing is that the 1600 ram wont work with my other items. Can anybody confirm or deny this?

Several varieties of gskill including cl9 1600 are listed on asus ram qvl for this board: http://usa.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3/M4A88TDV_EVOUSB3/#MSL. It should work fine.

We just started up a new M4A87TD/USB3 with Phenom II X2 965 Black Edition and 8GB of Patriot Signature, which isn't on the supported list. CMOS confirmed it at 1600. Can only guess your slightly better 880(over this 870) chipset will call it fine.
