Which is the better PSU?

I know Antec has good and reliable power supplies, but I'm not sure about XFX.

Depends. Do you have a power cable already? Because notice the Antec's last detail:

Ah I did not see that. No I do not have a power cable. I'm building my first computer. So is the XFX still a good psu? I obviously cannot buy the antec now.

XFX make good PSUs yes, you should try getting a corsair PSU though.

As far as I'm aware, XFXs are just rebranded... I think its Seasonic? Something like that.

Haven't heard anything, myself, to indicate it wouldn't be a good choice.

I'd get the XFX. Its $20 cheaper after rebate. XFX is just a Seasonic PSU with a different badge on it. Corsair used to do the same, but CWT now makes their PSUs. I know the Antec's used to be Seasonic, but I think Delta now makes all of theirs. While Seasonic is obviously the best of the three, all 3 companies make fine PSUs.

Yep! the XFX is a bargain for a modular Seasonic oem psu.

The XFX Core Editions are 2nd tier PSU's (9.5 performance rating)

Actually, anything 8.5 and above is tier 1.

That's why I like 3 tiers. 1) Use it. 2) Use it if you have to, replace when you can. 3) Don't even think about it. None of this "is it a 3 or a 4?" BS.

My tiers are pretty much GOLD, BRONZE, or crap. I'd never skimp on the PSU.
