Hello all,

Just successfully assembled my first build; I went lowball in the CPU department with an AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE with hopes of core unlocking when--lo and behold--I found out that my Gigabyte mobo has ACC disabled for some reason. No way of accessing ACC in the BIOS, no "secret options" CTRL-F1 menu to enable it...

My mobo is a Gigabyte 970a-UD3 w/ F3 BIOS and SB850...also I'll need 64-bit compatible changes, as I'm using Win 7 64-bit.

My question: Anyone know a configuration with this mobo/any BIOS flash version that brings back ACC? I'm very bummed I can't unlock. Thanks for your time!

Note to all that this problem has been fixed, in just about any BIOS for this mobo there is a new option called CPU Core Unlocker which you can enable or disable. It's funny--as explicit as this function is, I grazed right past it while looking for ACC with all my might. So look for CPU Core Unlocker and unlock away!
