Hello,

I just bought an Acer Aspire 5740 laptop with a Windows 64 bit O.S. I have changed the O.S. to 32 bit,and since then, the allocated shared memory on the VGA Graphics adapter got lost. My maximum screen resolution has an output of 1024 x 768,but I want to bring back the original 1366 x 768 resolution. Please help me how I can bring back the shared memory on the VGA Adapter. Thanks.

Huh? Shared memory = uses a little amount of RAM memory, since the onboard graphic is doesn't have it's own memory. Basically, you can increasing the shared memory by adding more RAM memory...
But, that's useless, since the onboard memory is just too weak and increasing the shared memory isn't going to help you...
About your resolution, you have a problem with driver, update it or re-install it with the correct driver. Hope that's work. :)
