Fractal Design Define R3/XL Questions

Hey guys, im looking to build a high end (and my first) PC for both video rendering and gaming, was debating on which Fractal Design Define (Black Pearl) case i should get, either R3 or XL and have been unable to find any information to my questions about fans.

Firstly system specs:

P8P67 Pro
i7 2600k
Thermalright Silver Arrow
16GB Corsair XMS (4x4GB) C9 1600mhz
EVGA SLI GTX 580 OC
3x 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3
120GB OCZ Vertex 2
Samsung SH-B123L/RSBP
Corsair AX1200

Basically, I need to know if I can use up to 6 Silverstone AP121/141 + 2 TY-140 on the fan headers provided by the P8P67. If I can't use them all on the motherboard I can use the provided 3 fan controller to control some case fans.

I want to be able to control the fans as I'd like them to be quiet when idle etc.

I really want to put a 120mm AP in the front slot in the define xl, but by doing so I will only be able to use one 5.25" drive bay which will be for my optical drive, so I'd have no room for a fan controller.

Need an explanation or help.

Ty-140s are from the CPU cooler so main concern is the 6 other case fans

I would recommend the XL just because of the extra space inside in case you want to do any upgrades in the future.
