For gaming, what all can cause bottleneck in terms of graphics?

Is it just cpu, and graphics card? or even if you have both of those top of the line, can something else cause a bottleneck graphics wise? Excluding monitor. my monitor is fine.

Hard drive speed can slow games down by increasing load times. RAM also can slow it down by being overwhelmed with information to pass on. These can be just as bad as CPU and GPU bottlenecking.
