What should I do?

I'm thinking of buying a new motherboard that supports Intel iCore prossesors (i3,i5,i7) and DDR3 RAM so as to get better performance in games like harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2, Pro evolution soccer 2012 on high settings. I have ATI 5570 1 GB so a combination of this Graphic card and a motherboard like above will do the job! Or not? Should I just overclock or sth? My current MoBo is Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2H rev 1.0(DDR2, CPU Athlon Dual Core 2.5 GHz). I would rather buy Intel Core i3 2100 3.1 GHz on a a motherboard that supports it. Any suggestions? Thanks for reading.

better idea to going on new pc like i5 2500k if you can afford to get it with z68 mobo and with a decent gpu like ati 6850 or gtx 460 then you will be able to maxed out every game instead of high setting.

then change to amd 955 also better for gaming but it's cheaper.
