Hi There,

My wife and I are building new computers over the holidays. Trying to figure out what the difference is between these two seemingly identical memory packages:

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9R

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

Thanks so much!

Timothy

edit:

These are going with an

Intel Core i7-2600 Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor and a

ASRock Z68 PROFESSIONAL GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

looks like the *R model is red (and on sale).

there's a lot of people who care about the colour of the parts inside their cases, maybe corsair made a red model (denoted with the R at the end) to appease people who want red ram?

wowwwww, if that's true.... I guess I'm out of touch with the aesthetics qualities. :) I like my computers silent but deadly.

Thanks very much for your input.
