Fx with this mobo?

Quick question for you guys, can I use this motherboard:

with this processor?:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103996
If I can't I'll just get a Phenom ii x4 955, the only reason I'm considering the FX is because it's cheaper.

Many posts recently with your issue. Many newer boards won't even post with your cpu without flashing the bios first. There is no way to check the bios before ordering the board from newegg or anyone else. If it doesn't work, you may be able to return the board to newegg or send it to the board manufacturer to flash the bios. I recommend you borrow or find a used sempron 140 am3 cpu for around $25 to flash the bios if needed.

AS Rock site says all bios versions support FX processors.

So, did your motherboard work right out of the box with the fx 6100?
