DDr3 SDRAM on z68

Just a quick simple question, having one of those moments where the answer isnt coming to me. Where you forget something but know the answer?

QUESTION: Any type of DDr memory is SDRAM am i correct? such as DDR2 and DDR3 is considered SDRAM, looking at a mother board is just says compatible with DDR3 dual channel

Yep; SDRAM is is just another name for your ram.
