Hi I am trying to build a PC.
-My Budget is Under $575 After Tax, the budget must include 1 20" monitor
-I am only going to use this computer for MS Office, Photoshop, Some Video Editing, Mostly Watch Movies, Day Trading Stuff, & Maybe Some L4D2(not important)
-I want to run Dual Monitors Eventually( I am only going to buy 1 20" monitor to start for my budget)
-I have chosen the following items but I am unsure of what to match them with.
-I might want to get a Good Video Card in the future, but i dont really care right now.
-I do not plan on Overclocking
-Assume I have no wires or anything, i am currently using a Compaq Laptop

This is what i have decided on so far.

1) CPU+MOBO - AMD Athlon II X4 640+ Msi 785GM-P45 (95.99)
http://www.microcenter.com/specials/promotions/AMDbundl...
2) RAM - Corsair XMS3 6GB(3X2GB) (65.99)(Already Bought)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?nm_mc=AFC-Sl...
3) Case - Cooler Master 360 (39.99)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
4) Optical Drive - Asus 24X DVD burner ( 19.99)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
5) PSU - Antec Basiq BP430 430W (39.95)+$10MIR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Total So Far: 261. 91 Before Taxes

I am unsure of what Mobo/HDD/PSU to Get
Which CPU is better of the above two? According to a benchmark site i used the first is better?
500GB HDD would be fine, but im not sure what is compatable and what mobo to get...
Would it be smarter to get a Mobo with a built on Video Card then upgrading my Card Later if i wanted?
Would I have to get a separate video card to run 2 Monitors?
I live in Cali and Live near a Fry's If that helps,

Also could u guys recommend Monitors 20-23"? I will use this to watch Movies here and there Also.
I have an Onkyo receiver+5 Polk Audio Speakers in my room and would like my computer to use that as the speakers for the computer if possible.

Please help.

any modern motherboard will have internal SATA ports (at least 4, sometimes 6), and at least one older IDE/PAPA port, so, you should have no problem finding a SATA 500-600gb drive for as little as $40 or so on sale....

If not planning on playing Crysis, etc., virtually any $50 PCI-e video card will do, and many have 2 DVI outputs for supporting 2 monitors...

I would opt for at least an X3, and preferably an X4 cpu, medium-fastest you can reasonably afford....(no sense in paying twice as much for 100-200 more MHz, IMO)

Dell has some nicely priced 24" widescreen 1080P monitors that should more than suffice for most folks...

do u think the CPU i selected is the best $80-$100 CPU i can get for my money?

also for Mobo's whats the difference between a $50 mobo and $120 mobo, i am not sure what features i wanna look out for... i just know i wanna be able to have the option of upgrading my video card in the future, use my Onkyo A/V Receiver+ Run 2 Monitors

yeah no Crysis for me, maybe some steam games... mostly will use it for movies at most

okay so im probably gonna order that deal posted above as i am going to visit my friend in irvine anyways lol

i updated the OP

my first suggestion is the Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB, $69.99

If thats not enough space, the 2TB Spinpoint F4 model is $99.99

If the F3 is too expensive, then the Seagate 7200.12 500 GB model is $49.99

AMD uses dual channel (2/4) while thats a triple channel for Intel 1366 boards. It will still *work*, but you won't get the full dual channel speed. you coud return it for 4 GB or 8 GB or dual channel, or use it as is understanding it won't be quite as fast (It won't be horridly slow, mind you, just not as fast)

thanks ordered it, for future reference if i wanna add more ram would i have to get the same exact ram sticks? or what should i be looking out for?

again thanks for all of your help, i have ordered all the pieces and i am just waiting for them to come in/ go pick up my mobo+cpu.

i was able to get two of those acer 215habd 21.5" monitors for only $103 shipped!
so with the video card+onboard video i should be able to run both those monitors no problem?

do you have wireless B, G, or N?

I'd reccommend a PCI or PCIe x1 card of the same speed type.
