Hey all. Friend suggested I try this forum out for my first build. I wanted to make one that can take care of high-end gaming and working with animation design programs, but I don't want to use more then what I actually need. Here is all that I have selected thus far:

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115213

Motherboard: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6666331&Sku=A455-2996

Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231313 (2 sticks)

OS SSD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167031

HD for storage: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2795126&Sku=TSD-500AAKS

GPU: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6510322&Sku=E145-0469 (2 SLI)

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006

Monitor: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4938558&Sku=H94-2804

Burner: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6942853&Sku=O451-1028

And with the headset and windows 7 OS, the total + shipping comes out to $2,296.16. Minus my tax return that will be a bit over $900, I just need $1,396.16. So at this point I'm wondering If I went overboard somewhere and want to get it just right. I don't mind where the amount its at now, but If i can get what i need for less >_> well I'm not going to complain.
