2.4ghz vs RF Wireless

There's this amazing deal for a Logitech MK710 at Bestbyte. The only thing that concerns me is that it says it uses RF wireless technology. I know that the 2.4GHZ tech has very little delay which is great for games. Would this keyboard and mouse with it's RF wireless technology have low latency for gaming?

Most wireless keyboards/mice are IR, and plenty fast enough, albeit an unnecessary expense IMO....
