The 2600k isn't recognized by the bios that will come standard with the board. Is this true? Should I create a usb drive with an updated bios on it now and install it even before windows?

I have this board and I didn't have that problem, when I built my system. My GEN3 mainboard came with the latest Bios. Maybe yours will too. Most of the complaints that I read circle around the older boards with the older Bios, and the Gen 3 boards with the wrong Bios updates, and these problems usually only occurred under certain circumstances.
