DVI?

I recently bought a new 20" LG LCD Monitor I presumed it would come with a DVI cable but it didn't so I am now using VGA. I was wondering if a DVI cable is even worth it enough for me to put in an effort to buy it for what? $10-$20? Is there an distinguishable improvement in performance and/or visual quality when switching to DVI?

Uhmm I've looked at the link it's a comparison of 2 CPU's unless I missed something in that link, it does not answer my question

OK I just plugged in my DVI cable I think it looks a bit better either that or it more of a placebo cable lol
