Hi people,
After a year or so of enjoying the provided setup of Studio xps 435mt from dell, i want to upgrade the graphics card to work great on my new Samsung LE37C650 HD tv.
The current specs of my dell are:
-Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz
-3Gb ddr3 triple channel 1066
-Nvidia gt220
-PSU 360W
So far I've used a monitor from Hp 19 inch (1440-900 resolution), and i have to say that gt220 did a great job. (only crysis couldn't max out).
A resolution of 1920-1080 on the Tv is a different story though...
In order to prepare my desktop for what's coming, i would like to upgrade the RAM and the graphics card.
(The RAM i want to change regardless of the tv, 3Gb just doesn't seem like enough)
In your educated/experienced opinion,
what are the best graphic and memory cards i can fit in my desktop without changing my PSU?
Mind you, 1920-1080 is the highest resolution i'll use.
If the PSU has to be changed in order to max out the mentioned resolution, which one should it be?
And, does any of the high-end graphic cards (that i hope to fit in my desktop) have 2 hdmi outputs? (for the day i'll upgrade my monitor to a HD one).
Thanks in advance,
Kobi.
