Hello there i have the Nvidia 6100pm motherboard and im upgrading my whole system to a

ASRock M3N78D nForce 720D (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR3

Because of motherboard problems right now

I still have have a geforce 9500GT 1GB from the nvidia board but i was wondering if its worth upgrading that too or keeping it for a bit longer i play high res gaming on a LG 22inch moniter and im adding at least
4GB DDR3 ram to this new board

Thanks

u can keep it for now, its not a bad card, you can upgrade it when your games can't run smoothly.

I wanted to switch to the AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
which would be a huge upgrade from my currant Athlon 64x2 5200 but i have no intention of overclocking and i hear this cpu is made for that
can i keep this cpu on stock settings and still get great performance

thanks

It's definately worthwhile to upgrade now if you can afford it to get the most out of your new system. 9500 can still play almost any new game, but your probably stuck with low or maybe medium settings at your monitors native resoluiton. And compared to your althlon x2 the 955 will seem awesome even at stock speeds.

Should work better, not by much with the 9500 though.
When you get the opportunity, save up for a 460 or a 5800 series card.
