Motherboard / RAM compatible?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233202 is the ram I currently have, and I was wondering if it will work on an ASRock 970 extreme4 MoBo, did not see it listed on the compatible memory list, but there are other Corsair kits on there that DO work. The ram was a gift and so was the MoBo so I'm hoping that they're compatible.

It won't hurt to try the ram. As long as it's desktop 240 pin 1.5-1.65v ddr3, you should be fine. Be sure to seat it in firmly and listen for two clicks as it locks in.
