First time build

Looking to build a computer for under $400. I am looking to just get used to build computers. This computer will be used for going on the internet, writing paper, and just regular daily things. Not too much into gaming for this one. Again I just want to build this one to start out on and later will try to build a high end pc. I have the monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse. The psu on both of those is way overkill for no gpu.
I would switch out that hdd to a samsung spinpoint 1tb or even a seagate 7200.12 1 tb, as they run on 500gb platters making them faster. They are also cheaper.
Bat's build is really the best bang for your buck. It is a really nice build for under 300

You will not need a 600 watt PSU. 350-400watts will sufice

Ya for IGP rig that Antec 380 80+ Bronze is awesome and also remember if u hit a 760G/IGP chipset = Radeon 3000 integrated graphics unlike HD 4250 on 880Gs so no Universal Video Decoder (UVD) and could come back to haunt ya for Bluray/HD DVDs and is less suited for HTPC duty so at least hit better IGP equivalent to a 780G/HD 3200
