Will my corsair vx450 support an i52500k with asus p8p67 and 8gig memory plus tw

hi, i have my old system c2d 2.4 for which i recently bought vx450 psu. i want to upgrade to i5 now...n it will b stupid to giv up my 1month old psu. can anyone tell me whether this psu will support a system based on i5 2500k, p8p67, 8gig memory, 2 x 500 gb hdds in raid and a dvd writer. will b upgrading my psu eventually for OC. but oc not my priority ryt now.

You've missed listing a critical component. What is the brand and model number of the graphics card?

ryt now...gonna use my old geforce 9400gt . future upgrade will b mostly quadro 600
or something similar for 3ds max usage.
