I put the build together down below, but just wanted to get some suggestions or comments to see if there is any better bang for my buck. PC will be mostly used for gaming, some programming, some editing.

I think it's a very nice build. The only thing I would change is the case, but cases are personal preference so there's nothing wrong with your choice.

I am not a 100% decided on the case, that usually the hardest choice for me when building a system. I was looking at the HAF X or Silverstone Raven and couple others. I am afraid of air flow in this case though.

I highly HIGHLY recommend the HAF-X. As someone that uses an Antec 1200, when I did a build with the HAF-X I was greatly impressed at how luxurious it was. It's hard to put into words, but the HAF-X is the only case I recommend when size isn't a factor
