the gt430 is a POS. Dont buy it. What made you even think of getting this? What reviews did you read that I didnt? its a very poor performing card for the price. At the lower price points ATI is king. get a 5670 or 5570 or something. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gt-430-gf108-fermi,2766-6.html
The 430 has some nice bits for the HTPC side of your build, but the gaming would just be non-existent; not an upgrade from your 9600. (the 5450 has those same bits minus the 3D, and is a ton cheaper though)

Hey i never read any reviews and i just thought a GT430>9600GSO. Newer tech, DX 11, Bluray3d support but i guess i was wrong mate. Anyways so should i buy a hd5670 or a hd5570?
I owned a 9600 GSO 768 from XFX and i was running the original crysis on a lga 775 core 2duo 2.4 GHz adn 2 gigs od DDR2 1066. stick with the GSO till u decide to fully upgrade. Just saying i miss my 9600 gso lil dude was a trooper
i am very familiar with the hd4670 in which i have no complaints.
i actually really like the card and scores good on WEI if that's your thing.
so i can only go on that by saying the hd5670 will be just as good.
hope that helps.
