Your question

Does temperature really effect GPU performance?

I just read in the CPU forum that a CPU under higher temperatures should not be slowed down by heat, Well it does but the effect is like 0.000000001%, Nearly nothing.

However, I do find my GPU gives better fps if the temperatures are lower, And I'm talking like 60 fps 30.0C and 18 on 47.0C

How would heat effect performance?

you would need to break 100c for your video card to start having performance issues. the gtx 480 and GTX 470 both run in the 90's with factory cooling, they are two of the better cards you can buy.

what are your PC specs including video card, CPU, RAM, OS, PSU and monitor resolution?
