Hey guys,

Building a friend a new rig soon, and we're planning for the Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3, (link below), and the Hyper 212+ Evo, in addition to 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance RAM.

Mobo:

Hyper 212+ EVO

RAM:

Question is whether we will be able to utilize all four slots of RAM in addition to the Hyper 212+ EVO, or if the EVO will be covering a few slots.

Thanks guys!

Solution
I don't think it will get in the way. You can install the first slot of RAM first to see how close it gets [if you purchase the parts]. I'm also sure you can move the fan bracket up and down a little if it gets in the way.

I haven't built it yet, we're planning to do it sometime next week/following week- Tigerdirect is holding up the build, backordered i5-2500k, even though we ordered it when it was still listed in stock..

If you can post back in about a week, I'll definitely let you know.

Just finished his build, holy hell what a sexy beast.

HAF-932 Case w/ Corsair 750W.
Intel i5-2500k w/ Hyper 212+ EVO Cooling
Sapphire HD 6950 2GB
16GB DDR3 1600mhz 9-9-9-24 RAM
80GB SSD.

WHEW.
What a beast, thing boots in 8 seconds, shuts down in 2..

Anyways, onto the answer.
Answer is no, it will not fit with the Vengeance RAM, with all of them filled up.
So we set the fan up to be a puller into the exhaust.
Works well!

So I was impatient and ordered it anyway. Should be getting here tomorrow. Is there anything special I would need to do to set it up as a "puller?" Is this in the instructions? I have all the memory slots filled up, so this may be my only option.

Take the fan off the heatsinks (has brackets).
Peel off the rubber pads, unscrew the screws found under the glued pads, switch the brackets to the other-side, remount.

Very straightforward.
