My new Build worth it?

ASUS P5E-VM HDMI Socket 775
Intel Core 2 Duo E7200
2 GB DDR2 Kingston HyperX Memory
500 WD hard drive
EVGA geforce 9600gt

New Build

790fx - gd70
AMD Phenom II x4 955
4GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX memory
WD 500 sata hard drive
XFX Radeon HD 5770

I spent around $470-480

I used the same ANTEC TRIO PowerSupply 650.Are the parts worth the money or should I replace some parts for others? And how long you guys think I would have to upgrade?I had an extra hard drive too.Need some advice.Thank you

For the CPU performance boost yes http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/88?vs=62 then you get a nice extra for gaming going from 9600GT to HD5770.

the CPU & GPU should last you two years+. the 5770 handles 1680x1050 resolution just fine and the phenom II are just fine for modern PC port game like crysis 2

If the money's there and the resolution is 1920x1080, I'd probably get a 1GB GTX460 instead, but otherwise it isn't that remarkably different performance-wise from what I was using.
