Yeah, that's actually a pretty solid build for $300. Wow... What a wonderful world we live in where you can get that much hardware for so little money. Personally, I'd spring for an Athlon II quad instead of the tri-core (only another $20 or so), and I'm not too sure about the case (I've learned that you can really regret buying a cheap case - REALLY regret), but I can't nit-pick too much. So what's this build for? I notice you're going with integrated graphics, so I'm guessing you're not a gamer...
  2. Good for the price!
  3. this is just a cheap build so i can learn. if i am able to do this one, later on i plan on building a high end gaming machine
  4. It would be a decent gaming machine as is with a single HD5770! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121363
  5. For 5$ more take a spinpoint f3 not SeaShit
  6. I switched the HD for the samsung spinpoint f3

I switched the PSU for the Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC 430W ATX12V V2.2 Intel Core i7 Compliant Dual 80mm Fans Full Cable Sleevings Power Supply

  7. ^ I would go with your original choice on the psu. Nice bronze 80+ certification and a more reliable brand.
  8. ok i switched the PSU back and added a 120 mm case fan
