6870 non reference when?

Hi

I'm waiting on a 6870 non reference version, with improved and more silent cooler, to order my next PC tower.

Does anyone read something about it or have any idea on how long it should take for the manufactures to release these versions. Just some sort of aproximate time scale would be helpfull for me (weeks, months)??

I've read a comment from a reviewer , AMD is not initially allowing custom 6870's.
Keep an eye out at techpowerup, they seem to run news on new models coming all the time, probably see it issued in a press release first.
