Hi, just bought a new ASUS M2N68-AM Plus, In the bios it is only giving me options of 200 266 333 or 400Mhz for the Ram, But the board is much more capable of these numbers, do I need to go deeper into the configuration of the ram like bank intereaving, mem hole remaping, not sure how to get more than 400 mhz out of bios, any help would be greatly appritiated. In my bios there under tools it gives me the option to flash the bios, is this a good idea or no.

need to know what kind of RAM you have....

you shouldn't have to go that far into configuring your RAM... Updating the BIOS may help, but it is at your own risk, if the update fails or doesn't complete you can "brick" the mobo... but your mobo says it can support up to 1066 RAM speed

This shows you what your Mobo supports for RAM speed....

You do understand the 400mhz is the same as 800mhz memory, right? Remember DDR stands for "double data rate" meaning the effective speed of the memory is twice the actual buss speed.
Your board will support up to 1066mhz memory, and it should detect and set the speed automatically.
