Does anyone know what Sata speed a AsusEssentio CG5290-BP007 runs at? I have a family member that wants to buy an SSD, but I want to make sure that they get a SSD that will not be limited so I need to know if I should go SATA III or II.

It is SATA II; however, I recommend your family member buy an SATA III SSD since it is backward compatible with SATA II and if you upgrade later, you will have the newer technology.
